FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Why are there different colours of prints?
When I sketch, I have been using a red or black ballpoint pen. When you see 'Original Red' or 'Original Black', that's what it means. It is a scan in the actual sketched colour.
I have been converting the red ones to black using a computer. Some people who order more than one have asked about having them "all the same colour". 'Printers Black' is a red sketch that has been converted to black. My fine art printer uses the same ink as a black sketch and it will print as if I originally used a black pen.
Converting a black sketch to red doesn't work the same way so if you see an image in 'Original Black', a red version is not available.
A 'Watercolour Print' is available if I have coloured a previously finished sketch or if have used also watercolours while out and about. This is why if you see a watercolour image, an uncoloured version may or may not be available.
A 'Digitally Coloured Print' is like a watercoloured sketch. It is a digitally painted version of a previous sketch. For obvious reasons, I don't do these on location.

Are these drawn from photos?
Probably the opposite! Nearly all of these sketches were sketched on location. This way, I can increase (or decrease) the detail of anything I like. I can also move stuff around just a bit to get things to fit onto a page.
